Board of Education

The Michigan International Prep School’s Board of Education is the governing body of MIPS. The five board members are appointed to four-year terms, express and represent the views of the school on issues affecting education. They set policy, approve educational goals and curriculum changes, and provide direction to the superintendent. The Board also has the fiscal responsibility for approving the annual budget and maintaining a balanced budget. The School Board oversees the school activities, operations and programming and ensures that MIPS is executing its mission to prepare students for a successful future.
